AirKix at Milton Keynes was the location for my first ever freefall experience. AirKix is a large vertical wind tunnel that allows you to experience freefall flight without the need to throw yourself from an airplane and hope that the parachute opens when required.
Each flight only lasts a minute yet it requires extreme concentration as minor changes in body position can have big impact on the direction of travel or the amount of lift created in the 100mph wind tunnel.
