Chicken Shack: Is a light hearted look what owners of chickens might have posted on social media if Instagram had existed during the summer of 1976. This series uses some of the members of our backyard chicken community who have posed for own instagram images with some of the comments that might have occurred on images from year. The installation at the London Photo Show in 2018 included a video projection based on the 1970s vibe. The work is a re-appropriation of a concept by Richard Prince who caused controversy when he used other people instagram images t create a body of work.
