I decided as part of writing my own piece to support the exhibition I would contact Ken Warpole who collaborated with Jason Orton on 350 Miles an Essex Journey. After email exchange and phone call I arranged to visit Ken at his home on the 23rd April. In preparation for the meeting I started to make notes on the book some open questions on the drivers behind the collaboration however on the 21st April Ken contacted me to say that he had still not recovered from a cold. It was agreed that we would postpone the interview until May.
