The Cayman Islands is a diver’s paradise. There are many dive sites around the 3 islands. The waters are clear blue and warm.
Pete’s Reef is about 15 minutes by boat from the shoreline of 7 mile beach. The site is one of the many shallow dives at approx 15 metres allowing long dive times and good light to see the marine life around the site.
This video was shot using a Sony TR-705 Hi-8mm video camera housed in a special marine enclosure. It was shot using ambient light without any colour correction filters which explains the blue cast even at these shallow depths.
