For the third photography interlude I selected the theme “Cats and Dogs” when ever I buy a new piece of camera equipment invariably our cats and dogs are the subject of my test images. Sometimes they are good sitters and other times all you see in a cat or dog exiting stage left in disgust that yet again a camera is being pointed in their direction disrupting their life as professional layabouts. Or you will hear the cray of get the camera quick when they are doing something humorous or endearing.
Having established the photography interlude as a useful break to academic study or for others a useful tool to experiment outside of their projects it is time to broaden curatorial responsibility to other members of the cohort. In future weeks guest interluders ( not a real work I know) will have responsibility for setting the weeks theme.
