City Canyons was an experimental project. Cities aer a human build environment and the buildings create structures that require us to traverse the cityscape using the spaces between those buildings or canyon walls.. Using a layering approach the hard architecture becomes softer taking on a more natural form. I have walked the streets of city of London for many years and the buildings no longer register and discrete forms the merge into one as walking those familiar trails is no longer a conscious activity.
